Thank you Postcode Community Trust and R W Mann Trust!

We are delighted to announce that North Shields Poly has been successful in securing grant funding of £7,450 from the Postcode Community Trust. The project will expand our youth division by opening new recreational groups, recruiting new coaches, and purchase a range of athletics, fitness and safety equipment to facilitate coaching sessions.

The project has been made possible by this award from the Postcode Community Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

In addition, we have also secured a grant for £1,100 from the R.W. Mann Trust which will contribute towards branded clothing for coaches and training our youth coaches in Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid Certificate, in line with EYFS and Ofsted guidelines.

Chair of trustees Patrick Houghton said ‘It is s fantastic achievement that the professionalism, hard work and teamwork of the club has resulted in the team being recognised in such a fantastic way. I would like to thank The Postcode Community Trust and The R W Mann Trust for their essential and valuable support. Our team will work to make them proud.”

The charity would like to thank our Trustees for putting these applications together, including Natasha Newson , Amanda Hall, Andrew McColl, Chris Mole and Chris Walker who were key players in securing funding.
