We are thrilled to announce that North Shields Poly has been named as England Athletics North East Club of the Year 2018 at the recent England Athletics Volunteer Awards. 

 

The awards are a chance for England Athletics to celebrate and recognise the unsung heroes amongst all volunteers in the athletics and running community and it is a huge honour for the club to receive such recognition. 

 

Olympian and Commonwealth medalist Laura Weightman made the presentation to Ian Woodward and Young Athletes Coach Lee Morgan on a night which recognised volunteers throughout all aspects of our sport.
