If you are considering joining us at NSP you are welcome to ‘try out’ for about 4 weeks without any monetary commitment. Please speak to your new Coach who will be happy to discuss this with you and make sure you are happy with what is expected on both sides.

 No refunds are possible after your Membership has been accepted.

As a member of NSP you agree to abide by the codes of conduct, rules of the club and those of England Athletics. Parents/carers agree to the participation of the athlete in training and competitions. All information supplied is kept on a database for club administration only.

At the start of April 2016 new UKA Rules for Competition came into effect which includes important changes regarding compulsory athlete registration in competitions held under UKA Rules (these rules apply in competitions for the Under 13 Age Group and above).

It is therefore important that competing athletes ensure they are up to date with payment of their club subscriptions and that, when due, these their ‘club subs’ are renewed promptly so that their England Athletics athlete registration fee can be paid.

Membership Renewal

Subscription fees are payable 12 months after you join. Due notice of renewal will be posted on the Club website and emailed, it is each member’s responsibility to renew their membership on time.

Where membership subscription renewals are still outstanding after EA deadlines, members will no longer be affiliated to England Athletics.

North Shields Polytechnic Club is an active competitive athletics club, and as such we encourage all our members to compete in events appropriate to their abilities.  Additionally, we expect that when selected to represent the Club in Team Events, members will support the Club in its objective of becoming the premier athletics club in the North East.

Please be aware that road runners will still be able to compete unattached however, athletes who wish to represent their club (and claim the registered athlete discount on entry fees) in road running events, will need to be registered with England Athletics.
