Disability Athletics
North Shields Poly is committed to the principle of equality of opportunity and aims to ensure that all present and potential members, coaches, competitors, officials and volunteers are treated fairly and are able to fulfil their potential within athletics. We are proud of our club’s diversity and inclusivity, and aim to be proactive in these commitments. Our coaches are actively committed to supporting our disabled athletes and offering integrated activities which include all participants wherever possible. We support the Activity Inclusion Model (AIM) championed by England Athletics.
If you (or your child) has a disability, impairment or health issue and are interested in participating in our activities, please contact trustees@nspoly.org in the first instance. We will get in touch with you to discuss next steps and identify the best coaching group for you.
